Our Industry Approach. Here at Mason, we believe that major does not equal career so we use an Industry Focused Approach when working with our students and employers.. Our team is composed of Industry Advisors who have each been assigned a cluster of industries. On a daily basis, our Industry Advisors meet with students who have selected one of their industries to purse for their career George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government will launch its new Race, Politics, and Policy Center in Fall 2021 under the leadership of Professor Michael Fauntroy. Fauntroy, who taught at Mason for 11 years before joining the faculty at Howard University in 2013, returned to Mason in June Amy Murphy, MPP, joined the Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence (ACE!) in 2009. Amy serves as Project Director for the RNR Simulation Tool, an online suite of tools that operationalizes the Risk-Need-Responsivity principles. Amy's additional projects at ACE include SOARING 2, an eLearning curriculum for criminal justice supervision. The table below lists Fall 2021 course options that can be used to fulfill Mason Core, Global Affairs concentrations, Conflict Analysis and Resolution concentrations, and college-level requirements.
